Overview

What Kansoku Labs is, what runs onchain, and what stays off it.

Kansoku Labs (観測, kansoku, "observation") is wallet-gated Earth intelligence on Robinhood Chain. Anyone can explore a satellite globe and ask questions about a location. Connecting a wallet unlocks change-detection reports, autonomous monitors called Watchtowers, and timestamped analysis Receipts that can be anchored onchain.

What stays onchain

Imagery and compute never touch Robinhood Chain. The chain only handles identity, access, ownership and proof: wallet identity through SIWE, access tiers through KansokuPass, and watchtower ownership plus receipt hashes through WatchtowerRegistry.

Stays offchain

  • ·Satellite imagery and raster tiles
  • ·The analysis / change-detection engine
  • ·Watchtower polygon coordinates
  • ·Detection rule configuration
hash only →

Lives on Robinhood Chain

  • ·KansokuPass access tiers (ERC-1155)
  • ·USDG payments for Analyst access
  • ·Watchtower ownership, area/rule hashes, expiry
  • ·Timestamped analysis receipt hashes

Stack

Next.js 14 (App Router) and Tailwind serve the frontend and API. MapLibre GL 5 renders the satellite workspace on Esri World Imagery, with historical before/after layers from the Esri Wayback archive. Analyses run on real Sentinel-2 L2A reflectance found through the Earth Search STAC API and streamed from AWS Open Data COGs. A local LLM (ollama) fuses detections into analyst briefs. wagmi and viem handle wallet connection to Robinhood Chain (id 4663); SIWE plus iron-session provide free, gasless authentication. Two small Solidity contracts, KansokuPass and WatchtowerRegistry, hold access and ownership.
